Chlorine Dioxide: How I Helped My Cats (and Myself) Detox Naturally

I want to tell you a little story about my kitties, and how I discovered something that worked better than anything I could get from the vet’s office. You see, like many people, I used to believe I had to follow all the “official” advice about keeping my cats healthy—get the shots, use the chemical flea drops, feed the commercial food. But over the years, I began to notice that my sweet little fur babies weren’t doing so well. They were sluggish, sometimes sick, and one even started losing her beautiful, shiny coat.

Then it hit me: all those chemicals, metals, and toxins in the shots, the food, and even the tap water were building up in their little bodies—just like they had been in mine.

That’s when I decided to do something different.

I had already been using chlorine dioxide myself as part of my own healing journey. Years ago, I was struggling with Lyme disease. Within just three weeks of taking chlorine dioxide, the symptoms began to fade. After two years, I felt completely well again—no more pain in the joints, no more brain fog, no more fatigue. I took it every day, eight times a day, seven days a week, for about two dollars a week. That’s cheaper than one co-pay at the doctor’s office!

So when I saw what was happening with my cats, I thought, Why not help them detox the same way I helped myself?

How I Gave Chlorine Dioxide to My Cats

First things first: never use a metal dish. Chlorine dioxide works electrically, so it interacts with metal. I use glass or ceramic bowls only.

I mix up a little solution and add five drops of chlorine dioxide to their drinking water. I let them drink that for about a week. Then, for the next week, they just get fresh spring water.

After that, I switch to giving them Silver Water (from Wayne Rowland’s Silver Water brand) in their water dish for a week—about one ounce each day. I rotate between the two.

These two natural remedies are like gentle, safe antibiotics, without side effects, without prescriptions, and without draining your bank account.

Chlorine dioxide works on an electrical frequency level. Our bodies, and our cats’ bodies, run on a natural negative electrical charge. Things that don’t belong, like parasites, heavy metals, chemical toxins, and bad bacteria, often carry a positive charge. Chlorine dioxide targets these positive charges and neutralizes them, turning them into harmless by-products like water and oxygen.

If your cat’s body doesn’t have any of that “trash” inside, the chlorine dioxide simply passes through. That’s why it’s so gentle and effective, it only goes after what shouldn’t be there.

It doesn’t poison; it purifies.

The Media Lies About It

Some folks call it “bleach,” but that’s just a smear campaign. It isn’t bleach, sodium chlorite is not salt, and chlorine dioxide isn’t bleach. The big pharmaceutical companies and their media partners don’t want people, or their pets, using something that actually works and costs pennies instead of thousands.

Have you noticed?

  • YouTube took down all the videos with testimonials about chlorine dioxide.
  • Amazon removed books that mentioned MMS (Miracle Mineral Supplement).
  • Wikipedia labels it dangerous—yet millions of people all over the world have used it safely for decades.

President Kennedy once said: Don’t believe the media. And he was right.

My Results

Within a few weeks of using chlorine dioxide in my cats’ water, I noticed their energy returning. Their fur looked glossier, their eyes clearer, and their playfulness came back. They were happy again, and so was I.

Now, I use chlorine dioxide as a gentle detox whenever I think they’ve been exposed to something toxic. I rotate it with Silver Water, give them natural food, and lots of love.

And me? I’m still chlorine-dioxide strong, Lyme-free, and living proof that nature’s remedies can do what big pharma cannot.

If you’re a holistic pet parent like me, you probably already know that the best care for your animals is simple, natural, and full of love.

Chlorine dioxide is one of those gifts from nature that helps both humans and animals stay balanced, detoxified, and vibrantly alive.

Don’t let fear or misinformation keep you from learning. Read, research, and trust your intuition. Our bodies, and our pets’ bodies, know how to heal when given the right support.
